1. Terms of
Use?
Oxford Impressions rubber stamps are sold
for the purpose of personal, non-commercial use. The collections
are sold unmounted for the convenience of our customers.
They are not intended for resale. Oxford Impressions expressly
forbids the mounting of our rubber stamps for resale.
By purchasing an Oxford Impressions rubber
stamp, you are not buying the rights to the image. You
are buying
the right
to use the physical stamp only. Oxford Impressions retains
all rights to our copyrighted image.
You may sell ART you have created using
Oxford Impressions rubber stamps, as long as the items
are hand-stamped.
You may NOT sell or display the stamped image. No
reproduction
by digital, electronic or mechanical means of our images
is allowed including, but not limited to, use on the
internet, scanning, video or digital reproduction,
copy machines
or printing, without written consent. (See Angel Policy
below.)
Do not lift the digital images from our website or copy
or in any way duplicate the printed copy that comes with
each
stamp plate. We encourage magazine submissions using
Oxford Impressions rubber stamped images, but request
that proper
identification of our images be submitted to protect
our rights. Any and all digital files shown on the Oxford
Impressions
website are protected by our copyright and may not be
copied or reproduced. Oxford Impressions aggressively
pursues
any and all violation of our copyright.
2. How secure
is your online ordering system?
A detailed explanation of why transactions conducted through
our web site are 100% safe, secure and guaranteed can be found
on our store
site under "information."

3. Are Oxford Impressions
stamps made from photographs?
Yes. Many of Oxford Impressions stamps are digitally
adapted from photographs. However, our stamps are not
mere copies of the originals. They are digitally manipulated
and altered to give the best possible stamping impression.

4. How do I get the best impression
from the very detailed stamps?
These stamps can make amazingly clear photo-like imprints
with a little advanced planning. I have a tutorial
that offers clear instructions on their use. Click
here to go to our tutorials menu and see "Using
Photo Style Stamps - the Basics" for
advice on choosing the correct inks and papers. For Trouble-shooting
help, see our tutorial "Photo
Stamp Clinic."

5. Do Oxford Impressions
stamps ever go on sale?
Very infrequently. Oxford Impressions does not have
regular sales. (Suzanne sometimes likes to surprise her customers
around her birthday, so check back around March 10th!)

6. Do you ever sell Oxford Impressions
stamps as singles?
Yes. We often cut a plate for demos or samples and the
images left from that plate are sold as singles. Go
to our online store to see the stamps that are currently
available as singles.

7. Do you make stamps by customer
request?
While we do not make custom stamps, we encourage customer
input. If you have an idea for a themed collection
you've been wanting, by all means let us know! If
you have a particular photo or image that you think would
make a good
stamp please contact us. If we can work it into an
upcoming theme, we will try to do so. Contributors
will receive the stamp for free.

9. Can I buy your
stamp collections, cut them apart and sell them as singles?
No. Absolutely not. Oxford Impressions rubber stamps are sold unmounted for the
convenience of our customers, not so they may be exploited for personal gain.
Oxford Impressions
stamps are sold for the sole purpose of
personal,
non-commercial
use. Oxford Impressions expressly forbids the mounting of our rubber stamps for
re-sale. We aggressively pursue any violation of our rights.

10. What is your
Angel Policy?
You may sell ART you have created using
Oxford Impressions rubber stamped images as
long as the items are hand-stamped.
You may NOT sell the image. For example, you may not stamp one
of our images
on a piece of paper and offer the stamped image for sale. (See paragraph below.)
Any
and all mechanical, digital or other reproduction of our images is
forbidden.
Do
not lift the digital images from our website or copy or in any way duplicate
the
printed copy that comes with each stamp plate. We encourage magazine submissions
using Oxford Impressions rubber stamped images, but request that proper identification
of
our
images
be
submitted to protect our rights. Any and all digital files shown on the Oxford
Impressions
website are protected by our copyright and may not be copied or reproduced.
Angel Policy Example: If you are making
an item to sell - card, tag, wall hanging, ATC, and you use
an Oxford Impressions rubber stamp to make an image as
a part
of
your
design,
that is
what they are intended for and is perfectly okay. The Oxford
Impressions rubber stamped image would be just part of
the tools you used to create your masterpiece.
Ultimately, you are selling YOUR skills and YOUR artistic
vision.
If, however, you are stamping an Oxford Impressions image
on a piece of paper, cardstock, tag, etc, for others
to
buy and
use in
the creation of THEIR art - that is NOT okay.
You do not own the reproduction rights. You would be,
in essence, competing with Oxford Impressions and causing
Oxford
Impressions
the harm of potential loss of revenue. People who want
to use the image - need
to
buy
the rights
to
use that
image from the legal owner of the intellectual property
- Oxford Impressions - by purchasing the stamp,
themselves.
At Oxford Impressions we agressively pursue violators of
our copyrights to protect
our business. If we don't act to protect and enforce
our rights, we lose them in the eyes of the law.
